Christina Michelle Presents
Greetings!
I'm Christina Michelle. I play bass and sing. Throughout my musical career I've founded several bands, mostly cover/tribute bands, and established Christina Michelle Presents to book and promote my various projects in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I started playing music in the Bay Area in 1996 with Chain of Fools, a cover band featuring two female lead vocalists covering classic rock and Motown tunes. We gigged heavily for a couple of years, primarily in the South Bay.
After Chain of Fools, I developed both solo electric and acoustic guitar acts in which I played covers and originals. I played at many coffee and art houses along with various festivals during this time.
I then joined the rock trio Naked Toe Trick as lead vocalist and bass player. We covered glam/rock tunes and also played originals. With this band I played a variety of clubs that no longer exist ... like the Boomerang in the Haight and the Tip-Top Inn in the Mission.
It was after Naked Toe Trick dissolved that I founded TEEZE! A Tribute to 80s Rock and Metal. I sang lead in TEEZE! as well as produced and promoted many shows to feature the band. TEEZE! was a successful act that played 80s hair metal and had a full stage show including costumes, fog machines, lights and plenty of antics. The project gigged heavily throughout the Bay Area. TEEZE! played in venues such as the Hard Rock Cafe and the Red Devil Lounge and festivals like the Folsom Street Fair.
During the time that I was playing in TEEZE!, I co-founded a Southern Rock tribute band called the Fog City Swampers. In this band, I played bass and shared lead vocals. The Swampers played many gigs including private parties, 107.7 The Bone events and a variety of clubs in San Francisco.
Throughout this entire time I've also participated in various other musical projects, playing showcases at clubs like the Bottom of the Hill and DNA Lounge as well as events like Bay to Breakers and the Lumus Day Festival in Los Angeles.
My latest project is Chick Jagger and the Sticky Fingers in which I sing lead and play rhythm guitar, percussion and harmonica. This project draws upon my deep love of the music of the Rolling Stones and my fascination with Mick Jagger, the greatest rock performer in history. I'm pleased to have five seasoned musicians playing alongside me and creating red-hot versions of the Stones classics that we all know and love.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you at a show soon!
Rock on,
Christina Michelle
