Rolling Stones tribute band marks the 40th anniversary of the Stones’ historic album
San Francisco, CA - Premier Rolling Stones tribute act Chick Jagger has announced a series of special shows celebrating the release of the Rolling Stones' historic album "Some Girls." Upon its release, Some Girls reached #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart and garnered the band's first Grammy nomination. The album spawned such hits as "Beast of Burden," "Miss You," and "Shattered," along with cult favorites "Far Away Eyes," "Before They Make Me Run," and the title track, "Some Girls."
"Chick Jagger is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform this historic album in its entirety," said Christina Michelle, lead singer of Chick Jagger. "We've been wanting to perform a full Stones' album for some time, and when we realized it was the 40th anniversary of one of the most famous and beloved Stones' album of all time, it was a no brainer to put the wheels in motion," she added.
The band will be performing a trio of shows honoring the historic release. "We wanted to give the Bay Area communities an opportunity to see these one-of-a-kind shows without having a long commute, so we've partnered with some of the best music venues in San Francisco, the North Bay, and the East Bay to enable them to offer exclusive access to this performance," explained Michelle.
